This site uses Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as page views, approximate location (country level), device type, and referral source. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
The one place where information can be submitted deliberately is the clover game's leaderboard, which is covered below.
The clover game keeps a daily leaderboard. Nothing leaves your device unless you choose to put a time on it. If you do, what is stored is the display name you choose, your time, the difficulty you played, and the date. None of that needs to identify you, and you should not use your real name, an email address, or anything else personal as a display name, because the board is public.
Two further things are kept so the board stays fair. A random id is generated in your browser and sent with your time, so that one person holds one place per difficulty per day. A one way salted hash of your IP address is also kept, so a single connection cannot flood the board. That hash cannot be turned back into an address, and your IP address itself is never stored or shown to anyone.
Leaderboard entries are stored by Cloudflare on my behalf. If you would like an entry taken down, email hello@yungcrossing.com with the name and the day it was posted and I will remove it.
The clover game saves your progress in your browser's own storage: which fields you have finished today, your streak, your best times, and whether you have the timer switched on. This stays on your device, is never sent anywhere, and clearing your browser data removes it.
Google Analytics may set cookies to distinguish unique visitors and track sessions. These are third-party cookies managed by Google. No first-party cookies are used on this site.
This site links to external platforms including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and Discord. These platforms have their own privacy policies which apply when you visit them.
If you contact me via the email links on this site, your email address and message content are only used to respond to your enquiry. Your information is never shared with third parties or added to any mailing list.
This site is not directed at children under 13. No data is knowingly collected from children.
This policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
